In its nineteenth year, the Milwaukee Kollel continues to strive to enable Jews in southeast Wisconsin to access their birthright of Torah study and spiritual growth through Torah. We provide learning opportunities custom tailored to the needs of the learner to Jews of all backgrounds in Jewish learning and observance.
The Kollel’s home in Sherman Park is the base for the community education efforts of the Kollel. With a large Bais Medrash study hall, the Kollel accommodates close to thirty people during the nightly study session.
Our North Shore Center has numerous classroom and conference spaces, affording quieter spaces to facilitate learning opportunities better served in a more private setting and large open spaces for community events. And these spaces are all highly utilized throughout the day, whether for a small business owner who comes in for an hour of Talmud study before or during his busy day, a physician who comes in for a Lunch and Learn discussing Jewish philosophy and ethics, or a Milwaukee public school teacher who is first learning to read Hebrew from his new siddur. The dedicated staff of the Milwaukee Kollel is here to help every Jew maximize his/her own Jewish potential.
Judaism Without Walls, an initiative of the Kollel, operates from our North Shore Center. To get more information on Judaism Without Walls and their programs, please visit their website at www.judaismwithoutwalls.org
